Power Plant is a work of light art that is activated by sound. It is 10 metres in height, made of 24 blocks of led lights and climbs along the concrete outside wall of the ELEC acoustics laboratory near the Ossinlampi pond. With its interactivity, this work, inspired by the Virginia creeper vines growing next to it, highlights the professional diversity of the university, the importance of cooperation and multiculturality.

The work originates from a course Electronic Art in Public Space held in Aalto University.
